Good luck idling with 75# injectors, these cars barely idle with 60# with 75# injectors you'll have to idle at like 2000 rpm.

I don't think the problem will be with the idle. The OS the car runs only goes up to 63.something lb. To use more then 63 I believe you'll have to have your guy write a different ecu. I don't think the Cobalts will work.

I just went to the bathroom and had a thought. The 60 lb/hr injectors we are using are 70 lb/hr in Vettes and GTOs, because of the fuel pressure. I'm not sure exactly on our fuel pressure, but if you brought it up to that of a vette, they would be 70lbers. So I guess using 75 wouldn't be that far off. It all depends on the pressure you run them at.

Tim what you could do is adjust the VE table. For example, if you scale the VE table by 1/2 it would only think it would need 1/2 the fuel. NoRemorse on the rlforums explained it some more.

Futral Motorsports uses HPtuners and specialize in GM vehicles. They said tuning them should not be a problem. Worse case I can get the 60-65lbs.

I'd be cautious with high revs. Rice Eater on the RL forums dynoed 425 whp then snapped his crank in two. Most people think he could have avoided it by putting in neutral balence shafts, becuase he snapped his crank at 7800 rpm.

Good choice on the mods. EXTREMELY BAD choice on the Headgasket! If you are getting the O-ringed gasket, your block is going to have to be machined for them. It's a waste of money. The stock gasket is just pure ****! Go with a Cometic headgasket as they have an excellent reputation for high horsepower builds, worked great on car, and you don't have to machine the block for them! Good luck on the build, and I can't wait to see the results!

An O-Ringed head gasket will hold like 100 psi! How is it a waste of money!?!? Its like impossible to blow an O-Ringed head gasket!
