well this is the reply i got from tunetyme "You can expect 16 hp to the wheels and 14 tq to the wheels as well as better fuel economy and the dealer can't see it . We custom taylor the tune for your options"

do you agree and do you think its worth it?

i dont see how its possible to add power and use less gas...unless your engine is dumping unused gas through the exhaust...which our cars don't do

After I tuned mine with the 2.6" pulley and header and stuff I get better milage than I did while stock! Except at WOT ;)

More timing and hi rev limiters make more power.

Actually, when your running richer at WOT you are doing exactly that, dumping fuel into the exhaust to quench knock. this is exactly what our cars DO do stock. In addition, theres COT thresholds, which again, dumps fuel to cool down the cat.

but simple timing advancement can result in more power and better fuel eco at cruise and WOT.

so tune tyme v.s. vector tune, tune tyme is at 400, 330 with group buy or vector tune at price i dont know. At least for vector tune i saw a dyno gain on brandon for 10whp and 5whtq what do you think which one is best?

Tunetyme tuens are very good. I know a few people who have there tunes for trailblazers and such and are very very happy with them.

with the installation of my stage 2 cams, does the tune time compesate and customise this for the individual, cause I would not want to raise my rev to more than 7000rpm cause i would not want to float a valve, just asking to compare the benifits between tune time and hp tuners

Mike, tunetime will not be able to send you a tune for your cams. They would need to tune your car (or at least another 2.4 with the same cams) in their shop.

With your cams youd be best getting a live tune done on a dyno to dial them in as well no one knows to what expect from them yet.

More timing and hi rev limiters make more power.

Mine made 211 stock and 219 with my tune NO TIMING added only torque management, fuel and rev limiters.

Be very carful with any tunes that add timing they will make more power on the Dyno but will blow up on the street.

As you go up in boost you need to reduce timing or KABOOM!

Any questions email me tedj@jannettyracing.com

I'm very satisfied with my TTP tune as well. I also see better gas mileage since the tune.
