The spring rate is higher, which means they are more firm. Also, it lowers the car, so you are closer to the ground, which in return offers better stability.

Better handling, better stance, lower center of gravity, which, in a slide, would lower your chance of a roll over, slightly. I know my suspension has saved me from hitting a moose, a blown tire, and numerous dumb blondes on the highway, where I know a stock cavy would have just given up and crashed.

Eibach Pro-Kit springs which settled down to a 2 inch drop
Koni Red struts
Addco rear sway bar
Bridgestone Fuzion ZRi tires.

hey guys i know the eibach pro kit only doesnt drop the front of the ss/sc and only drops the back .5" but shouldn't the spring rate be stiffer... i thought i saw somewhere that the pro kit had a stiffer spring rate than the sportlines. I don't really have a prob with the height of the balt it's just the struts and shocks i want to get stiffer. (wish they made some koni's)
does anyone know if that's true because living in NY and driving around brooklyn, a lot i don't think it would be smart for me to lower it because of the crappy roads but stiffer suspension would be great.

Yes, the pro-kit spring rate is much higher then the stock SS spring.

Amen to THAT! When some ***** in a navigator is on your ass, you can just pound the gas and FLY through a turn while he has to brake check and looks like he is about to roll over, and ur already a half a mile down the road.
