wells its me this time

Last night my baby got broke. Looked down to check my speedo look up to see a pickup stopped in the middle of the road hit him doing about the full 35 of the speed limit into and under his bed. I have yet to see it in person, got taken out of the car by the medics, my neck is bitchin. tomorrow I go to salvage what I want off of it before the adjuster gets there. From the looks new front end, radiator, hood, headlights, some frame work, and 2 new fenders, I'll take new pics tomorrow. Hopefully they dont total it and I get it it back with with a SS/NS front end and a CF hood. if so I need to find another cobalt somewhere, and I hear my uncle's bro's dealership has a red one with my spoiler used they want 12k for, hoping its a SS/NA or if I am really lucky an SS/SC. Any ways I miss my baby and want her back.

The funny thing is my airbags didnt go off but my DIC said I need to service them and that my engine pwr is reduced and engine pwr cut.

THATS tottaled? No way. But at least your alright, wtf is with thses air bags man, get that checked out as to why they didnt go off, its really starting to scare me. pull some parts, like the rear spoiler to sell and make some money. Id buy your interior trim panel for a good price just to practice painting. I dont want to paint mine unless I have a back up set

The hit was too high up to hit the air bag sensors thats why it didnt go off. That will be a nice little builder cause the bags didn't go off.

It shouldn't be totaled, the hit is above the frame rails. On the other note the repair bill is going to be pretty high.

I am rebuilding a Totaled SS/SC, it was hit hard and swayed the frame to the right side pretty bad, and the air bags didn't deploy.

The radiator support, It is welded to the frame rails and the inner fender (aka upper rail)

It all depends on what kinda hidden damage there is, It's not the parts that are cost the most its gonna be the labor to fix it and paint it.

that is definitely totaled. i did something similar...hit a mazda 3 doing 25. 11,000 in damage. the rad support, inner fenders, 2 new frame rails, ac condenser, rad, ac lines prob and intake manifold, fenders, bumper, impact bar, absorber, bumper cover, splash guards under bumper cover...i think there are three. air bag module, air bag forward sensor, new seat belts, and clock spring

the rad support is welded from the factory. it is replaced using sem panel adhesive.

the crash was not too high up for the air bag sensor...in fact it was dead on. its bolted to the rear of your rad support
