Building up the 2.0 internals - bulletproof style

Hello, I don’t know much about internal engine work and I am sure many are in the same boat as me, so I am looking to gather all the information in this thread.

Many of the 2.0 internals are strong and capable of handling 500+hp. What does need replaced? Please list with bullet pints (part, part # if known, manufacturer)
Do any shops that specialize in building engines build 2.0’s for our cars? I know you can take an LS1 to many places and they will build you a bulletproof engine. Does anyone do it for the 2.0L? I will try to contact many of the guys building F-body and Mustang engines and see what they say.
Anything else you’d like to add.
