Bad luck with Cobalt

I love my Cobalt Ls, but it just won't stop giving me crap. It's not all the car's fault but it sure is helping to make my life more difficult. Here's a list of the mishaps and problems I have had with my car so far.

2 weeks old, cracked windshield.....rock
3 weeks old, recall, no big deal....free car wash
4 weeks old, sunroof switch falls apart, ordered new part, another free car wash
5 weeks old, switch again.... superglue to the rescue
6 weeks old, new tints! New rims! looking sharp....
6 weeks 3 days...... new tints get new ticket.....80 bucks.. tint tax
8 weeks old....... notice door trim coming untucked......day without car.... free car wash
9 weeks old...... pot hole.... new rim destroyed....wobble for 2 weeks and finally install new with alignment...... out about 400 altogether... **** happens

12 weeks old...... car is perfect..... new injen intake....waiting on springs from eibach...getting ready to rip apart headlights, got little chevy decals to cover sun visor warning, shorty antenna, car is smooth....................
12 weeks 1 day......... wake up, get in car, roll down windows, start to drive, starts to rain, roll up windows...... wait window... passanger side window wont shut.... I get it shut now it won't open. Then I notice the rear speakers something somewhere in beween them that is vibrating and driving me crazy.....

alright quite a long post to tell u my window is screwed up. Back to dealer in the morning........ Still love my car..... Hope it begins to return the love soon.

First major problem fixed for me. Had a Cam Sensor go bad, throwing off my timing and such. Fun time spending the whole day at the dealership. It was throwing a 017 code that the dealer had no clue what it meant, so they had to call GM and get the run around.

These issues are not uncommon with debut models. Thankfully most of them sound quite minor - more irritants than anything else. I truly believe that these cars are built better than any GM compact every brought to market (well, with the exception of the Chevette which were nearly impossible to kill).

Yea I spent 20 minutes at the dealership this time, they replaced something somewhere and the window is back in working order. Now I just need to adjust my cai because I can here a slight vibration when starting the car and sometimes during idle. Can't blame the car for that though can I. Cobalt is good to go.....for now anyway
