2.4 ecotec to 2.2 ecotec swap

i have the 06 cobalt with the 2.4 ecotec that someone spun the bearings pretty badly in im having an extremely hard time finding a running 2.4 or that doesnt have bottom end problems and cant seem to find the specs for crank to just get the crank turned so im thinking about just getting a 2.2 out of a sunfire for realllly cheap but wondering what all issues ill run into during the swap like is it worth my money just turning my crank or the man hours swapping....im curious as to if the tranny thats already in the car will bolt up fine as well as base mounts and if im gunna have to switch all wiring, ecu, comp. ect... i bought the car blown up with these issues very cheap so im new to the cobalt and could really use some help thanks guys

so your saying if I just found a 07 2.2 bottom end it'll bolt up to my 2.4 motor ? And journals would be great .....if not I'm thinking of just going all 2.2 but will that all bolt up to tranny and base ? I know I'll have to swap witing and computer

you wont have to swap wiring and computer really you would just need a slight retune.

but yes an 07 or 08 2.2 bottom is direct swap

Ok so I just swapped the other 2.4 I got in my ss today and when I went for first start I'm leaking raw gas out of where down pipe/manifold connect so I'm assuming I'm not getting spark and I have no idea why as well as it won't turn over any help?
