i'm west bridgewater.. it's near brockton.. i have the only ss in my area. but if anyone else is out there with one in my area or close by let me know.

Any SSs in Mass? I have a SRT-4 and would be interested in doing some highway rolls...I'm not a hater or anything like that...

Yeah, I ran my car at Epping over the summer. As it is now I ran 15.5@90 with a slipping clutch.

yeah we need to have a meet. i got a shop that we could all meet at. theres a huge parking lot and we had a cookout and about 50 cars showed up. i'm sure he wouldn't mind having a cobalt meet if people were gonna show up. it's in brockton, mass. so if people are willing to travel i can talk to him and get things rolling. no dyno or anything, just a performance shop and a place to hang out with fellow cobalt owners. we could make a weekend out of it for people traveling a long way.

Anway I have a 99 Mitsu GSX I would like to try against an SS for shits and giggles... They are somewhat in the same HP catagory.

What are you putting to the wheels? M3 has a bunch of goodies and is running high 12's so you would need at least a stage 2/3 to get close. I have plans to purchase a supercharger from Active autoworks. That units is good for 500+ hp in the stage 2.

The GSX on the other hand has the basic catback, turbo xs blow off valve. The all wheel drive gives you very good launches from a dig. That is good for high 13's low 14's

Just so you know I ended up here due to the fact that my girlfriend bought a Cobalt and I was impressed with it's performance. I appreciate all cars no matter what make and model. :twothumbs

i haven't seen this thread in awhile lol.. i'm gonna putting down over 300 hopefully in about2 weeks.. we'll see.. either car sounds like a fun race

We should try and assemble a group of the people who live in either central or western mass together and go for a nice cruise. Too few people out here driving nice cobalts, and those that do don't seem to be online folks.

we have the cape meet comin up soon. i know it's a drive for western mass people, but we can make it well worth it for everyone. we had an awesome time last year. hell, i'll even have a cookout at my house afterwards so everyone can hang around and chill or something.

do you have that sun burst orange ls thats around brockton sometimes? with the rims and exhaust?
