really my first real problem with the car and found out it is faulty gasket that cant handle high boost . gm fixed it under warrnty work.... just wondering if anyone else has had this problem

Its not that its a faulty gasket. Our head is held down with bolts. So when you get into really high boost it lifts the head up and blows the gasket out. Thats why you replace the bolts with head studs and you'll be fine.

 

oh ok i didnt know that ... gm just put a better gasket on... i will look into the head studs...were can i find them how much do they cost and is it something i can do myself ....thanks for your info
