so i was bored the other day and so i went cursing around... i ended up on east coliseum and i found a jetta. Hade eruo tails, silver... pretty nice looking car. when i start to pass him he took off i could instantly hear the turbo spool. so i went after him and got next to him at the next light. when it turned green we both took off, he stayed at my quarter panel till about mid second gear then he started to fall off more. not sure what year it was tho, but i was a newer body style. And another one that blew my mind was a mustang GT, my guess is that it was a 2000. i started to pass it and then i hear a *PSH* *PSH* two bursts and i was like WTF? NOS? so he gets next to me, and i was doing about 50 in second gear... my best gear by far =) he takes off and i instantly pull him, when i get like a car length ahead of him his car rev EXTREAMLY high, so my first guess was that he started to run his nos. but for some reason i was still pulling.. at the following light about 2 miles away i hade to turn... so i got into the turn lane and drove off... the other cars i've raced and beat have been WRX with exhaust cut off, a Z28, and theres a BMW with and M3 swap pending... but i have gotten owned by a stage 4 SRT 4... wasent expecting to win that one...lol

and second the gt definately didnt have nos because gts have about 240 horsepower

and if you were stock u shouldnt have beat him anyway

so either it was a base mustang with gt decals or your bullshitting

trust me i was excited when i thought i killed a mach 1 until i found out it was a gt with mach 1 decals

 

more then likely a 6 cylinder mustang.. Gt + nos = you just got 0wned

 

Wait, what?! The only thing believable (If your stock) is the Jetta and the WRX. The GT stock should have been right with you so if he had "nos" (It's called N2O or Nitrous, Nos is a company) you would have gotten destroyed. Sorry but seriously.

 

actually the previous model gt can be taken, those ones arent as fast as the new ones, it would be a close race stock for stock but the ss should beat it by a car maybe, or a half a car.

 

I thought thats what i said. "Right with you". Stock for stock it's not going to be a huge difference. Maybe 2 cars at the most.

oh and i guarantee you if u were in second doing fifty you would have had to shift immediately so u wouldnt have pulled on him

i know this because i beat a corvette c5 the second time i raced him from a 40 because there was limited traction and because he had about 80-90 more horses than i did he couldnt grab for ****

first time i took off about a car then he said SEE YA!!!!

 

First off, i didnt ask the mustang while i was traveling at 40 miles an hour if his mustang was a 6 with GT badges on the side of it.i dont know about anyone else but i dont stick my head out the window of a moving vechical and yell into there window. And wether or not the other mustang with (N20) BTW hade NOS sitckers on the side cathedral windows. Hiting at the brand NOS so i wasent mistaken there, was actually trying i dont know. But i do know this it was a beautfiul night. and i didnt have to shift right away at 50, rev limiter is at 65, i shift at about 60.
