okay what is the difference wetween the single layer and double layer hood?and which one would you buy also including one with scoops?

Don't quote me but I believe that the single layer carbonfiber hood is carbon on top and fiberglass on the under side. The dual layer is carbon on both sides.

 

okay if your right then thats good. i thought it was just the top layer with out rolled edges and bad finish

 

Umm at first, i thought the double layer is both the outside of the hood (what u see on the outside) and when u open the hood, it's carbon fiber. But, when I looked on gravana, they had a double sided cf hood, but then said it's only 3 inches in on the inside.....so idk, on my cf ss hood, it has a cf layer over fiberglass on the outside, but when you open the hood, u see the fiberglass <---and thats a single layer

 

Oh and "double sided" cf hoods will cost a shyt load more

 

ya tahts why i was wondering they dont seen too much different but maybe someone could tell us different

 

My advice would be, if you're going to show your car off a lot, get a double sided one, and make sure it's fully double sided, not like what gravana has (their oem cf hood they sell). But if you just want it for looks on the outside, and possibly weight reduction, just get the single sided
