can anyone tell me what they set thee program to? should i just keep it like it is for city use?

and what do the different k,ka x mean i know there different frequences for the radar but can someone tell me alittle about how i will know if its a cop doing radar or if its a damn gas station door

The point of city mode is to limit the effect of the so called gas station doors from setting off the alarms. they are as you said different bands on radar that can be used. K and Ka are the 2 most commonly used for doors IIRC.

I suggest you open the manual and do some reading.

i turned off X band because cops around me dont use it
i typically keep mine always on highway mode, and i drive in a sub-urban/highway setting


does your unit go off as laser when you honk your horn??
