2.5" pulley or 2.6" pulley that is the Question.

I am going to be installing the 60 lb injectors gmpp perfromance cat back, intercooler dual pass mod cooler plugs and eventully a header. My question is this. Is there much differnce between running the 2.5" pulley and the 2.6" or will it be overspinning the supercharger? Is any one running the 2.5. This is my daily driver any recomendations.
Thanks,Chris

I've been running the 2.5" for months with no issues. It's only "overspinning" the blower for a brief couple of seconds, about ~6500rpms. It's not enough to cause damage, or atleast hasn't yet. There's a nice torque gain going with the 2.5" over the 2.6", however the 2.5" does create more heat. Make sure the car gets a good custom tune either way.

Do 2.6...2.5 won't gain that much more hp unless you have a lot of cooling upgrades on your car. I have a 2.5 with no cooling upgardes and she's still holding up STRONG! (besides my broken actuator lol)
