Jim,
I am an old skool bracket racer from the early 80's and such....I've been 8.70's@158 and basically anything in between. Consistency is what I am looking for...I am looking for someone that can take the GM stage V automatic and sell a complete package that can be used in a daily driver... I want to drive to the track...change tires and drop some low digits on the unsupecting. I currently have stage 2 with a header and 2.5 exhaust and have been a 13.66@107. As everyone knows...the clutch sucks....so...that is my dilemma..as you can see....I am starting from the ground and working my way up to the horsepower...be it another supercharger or turbo....turbo is probably what I will end up with down the road...Thanks for any help or pointing me in the right direction...

Whit...

P.S I am in Maryland if you have any connection out here....

The 4t65e is pretty easy to work on, but it's easier to swap it into a car that's already auto, and seeing as the 2.4 block is a better starting point than the 2.0L lsj block (although the crank and rods are better on the LSJ), it's a simplier conversion for the 2.4L SS guys, than the SS/SC guys. I don't know of anywhere that sells everything needed for the conversion, but gmtunersource.com does have quite a few links and Jason Whitfield racing has done several.
