Braking issues

okay, ive already talked to Adam (NJHK) about this, but its time i bring it up here
about 3 separate times now over a month, ive hit the brakes and felt a grinding feeling coming from the pedals, n heard a light grinding sound...this grinding would only come once, and wouldnt come back for the rest of the trip (or week for that matter) even when braking hard
adam said it might just be because im still breaking the car in (3200 miles) so it may do some funny things...so i ignored it

however tonight, on my way home from work, it happened again, only this time it affected my braking performance....i wasnt slamming on the brakes or anything, but i was slowing a lot slower than i should have been (i didnt wanna slam the brakes because instinct kept telling me hitting the brakes harder when its grinding would be very bad)

i ended up about a car length into the intersection (luckily no cars) so i just went into reverse n got behind the line....n at the next light tried to do it again to no success

now i suppose it could have killed me if a car had been coming through that intersection at like 60mph or something, but the point is it may become an issue in the future.

Im goin in to the dealer for my 1st oil change asap and am going to ask them to check it out while they're at it...but im curious if anyone else on the forum has had any problems similar to this or may have an idea as to what it may be....
thanks for the help guys

Get it checked out by the dealership man. Brakes are not something to take a chance with.

Ok, last time we talked, it wasn't effecting performance. If it is now, take it to your dealership or a shop you trust to take a look at it and make sure things are alright. Have them test the brakes for front by test driving it before they put it on the lift.

thats a problem tho...it rarely happens, maybe once a week at most....and i can never get it to happen when i want it to...so its almost impossible to show anyone the problem...
ill still ask about it n have em check everything out (today for example, drove to a tint shop...20 mins. drove back home, 20 mins, drove to work. 15 mins, drove a co-worker home n went home myself, 30 mins
brakes worked fine all day...
