ok guys i am in the process of having my custom catback made, but i have a couple questions. the flanges between the stock DP and catback are connected to 2.25'' piping. i was wondering if anyone knows if i could cut out the 2 small sections of 2.25'' piping from said peices and replace them with 2.5'' piping, and then REUSE the stock flanges. i need to reuse the stock flanges because i want to be able to change out the stock DP and XTC catless DP whenever i want, and the XTC mounts to the stock flange. thanks guys!

 

that can be done by any weld shop.... not a big deal at all

 

so you can use flanges for 2.25 on 2.5 easily?

No, you have to have a welder cut the flange off and weld a 2.5" pipe in place, or a 2.5" flange. You can't use a 2.25" flange with a 2.5" flange. Even if you could the piping at the flange would be 2.25 so what good is it anyway.
