So I have 5000 miles on my SS and the shifter is really making me mad :mad: ! Anyways, when I shift in 1st and second it sounds like the plastic is shifting on the plastic trim around the shifter. When I have the car off I moved the shifter from 1st to 2nd and I can really hear this plastic and it is extremely annoying. I haven't raced the car at all but it feels like I messed something up in the trim. I can really hear it when I am in neutral and moving the shifter back in forth. When I move it all the way to the left it makes the plastic crack inside. Has anyone else had this problem? I am taking it in to get this fixed (if they don't laugh at me) and my damn headlight has water in it which will also be fixed. Sorry, I notice all the little things like this.
