Stage 2 Dyno vs Stock... Before and After...18.87whp & 23.21wtq

Here is my dyno from today. Relatively the same run conditions as my previous dyno. So the numbers should be right on the money. 93 octane etc.. AFR's from the PLX where 12.0 droping to 11.5 at redline.

Mods before..
Run 002: Injen CAI, GMPP Catback

Mods after..
Run 005: Injen CAI, GMPP Catback, GM Stage 2

Conclusion: Gained 18.87whp & 23.21wtq all under warrenty.

Next up, Meth Injection, TAG Racecraft custom tune.. and maybe some cams.

Looks good! How do you like the difference in power, BAMFNSS? I remember going to a stage 2 and thinking "every gear feels like it's one lower in the power band...".

hey thats some nice results.
looks like that dyno might be a little lower than most too.
stock + injen + catback at 212 is pretty conservative.

Yea I agree it seems a little conservative. That is why I went back there after my stage 2 install. So I could see how much I gained from my baseline. I'm gonna hop on a Mustang Dyno when my friends shop opens.. see how the numbers from a different dyno compares.

you car dynoed rather low stock. that dyno is off by about 10whp. Most ss.sc are about 220whp about stock and about 240whp with stg 2. I would say that intake and exhaust in these cars does little to nothing.

I agree. The intake is defiantly a noise maker. But I like the sound of the S/C.

I know the parts are there, but last I heard about a month ago when trying to reflash an '07 it stopped at about 70-80%...

I'm just wondering if they got that fixed yet for the '07's...

i guarentee you it is a combination of different atmospheric conditions (even if it was the same temp), and error of the dyno.

toyotech i've seen that orange widebody focus a couple of times... great numbers bamfnss. once you hop on that mustang dyno i'm sure you'll see the numbers creep a little higher than they are.

well we have seen a before/after gmpp exhaust give 12WHP on a dyno....

Id hardly call 15-20 crank horsepower nothing....

Dyno was done at www.aptuning.com
They are mainly a VW/Audi shop, but hopefully I can convince them to tune some Cobalts..

How much does it cost to have a car dyno'd? There is one around here somewhere but I was wonder what some of you have paid for the test.
