how is it held on..... is there a nut behind the metal "screw" looking thing??? i dont want to start turning it to find out i have to get behind the bumper to get it off.

 

its called a rivet and no theres no nut, u gotta drill em out to get them out.

 

yeah, the lisesne plate fram is riveted in and I just drilled them off my car, becareful though beucase if they just start to spin theres nothing to grab it with and you cant get it off, I got mineoff and it looks like I have 3 holes in my bumper, but there not that big or bad looking for holes that is lol

 

...damn, i was afraid it was a rivit, but was trying to be hopeful since the head was so big :-(
