I looked through the search and could not find anything. Maybe I just did not look close enough, but where can I get a hi-flo cat? How much do they run? How much do they help??

 

The easiest way to buy one is attached to the b-pipe, complete with o2 bungs, as it'll need replacing anyway.

My Cobalt Addiction b-pipe flows much better than stock, but is quite a bit louder too.

They use the vibrant cat.

I bought mine during a group buy, but check out their website for the one you want.

They're available in 2.5" and 3".

 

I've been looking at exhaust a lot lately and what I can figure is buy one of the cobalt addiction pipes or a straight through down pipe and add an aftermarket high flow cat to it. But heres the kicker, I've been going over the DTC for cobalts and from what I can figure a hollow converter wont set codes. DISCLAMER, to any and all who read this DO NOT go hollowing your cats based on my theory, I havent tested it yet.

A hollowed out cat should throw a CEL for Low catalyst efficiency. Theres a real nice thread in the general cobalt section about high flow cats. Its really worth reading.
