Well I just finished installing a Stage II kit on my 06 SS/SC. The install was very easy with the use of the ZZP pulley puller, but I was supprised by what a PAIN it was to get the belt on the crank. <--Sucked!

Took the car for a spin and it feels good already, even without having the PCM Flash on yet. The car goes into the dealer tomorrow morning to get the S2 flash.

Yes getting it on the crank is definetly a bitch, but as far as driving it without the reflash....take it SUPER easy if it's a must to drive. That's not safe.

 

dont redline it too much without the tune.

 

I suppose with 45 lbs its running stupid rich without a tune.

 

I was being gentle with it before the tune. Got the tune this morning and WOW what a difference. The car pulls much harder. Better then I expected. The 7000 redline is perfect.

The dealership was great! I had no problems with them at all and they only charged me $50 for the PCM flash.

 

I got the dealership to do the flash for free after I installed mine. They thought it was included in the price of the initial kit. Hey it comes with the tune right! That was also the last nice thing they ever did for me too. Glad to hear you are enjoying the newfound power though!
