LOUD squeak coming from the front going over speednumps.

It snowed last night, so the temps today where in the 20s. I went to get something to eat and went through a plaza. Had to go over a few speedbumps. I noticed a LOUD squeak coming from the front of the car, something rubbing against something maybe. It sounded like the springs or shocks.

The car drives fine, just those really loud squeaks going over speedbumps.

I had the same problem in my Firebird in the rear, and it turned out to be the swaybar endlinks. But I don't think 4-5 month old endlinks on my G5 could go out that fast.

It's not a clunck, it's a squeak. Like a bedspring.

I drove the car over the same speedbumps today, but them temp was 50 degrees. It did not make the "spring" noise this time.

sounds almost like the old volkswagens that would clunk and squeak from the struts in cold weather. the cars would come into my shop with noises and we would test drive and of course the car warmed up on the way to the shop and the noise was gone. who knows.

I've noticed the same problem with my car when it's colder temperature when I get over a speed bump. Real annoying specially if the radio ain't on because I hear it.

I have the same thing on my G5. Only from the front right side though. It sounds like bushings need to be greased(That dry rubber on metal sound). I should take it in. It only does it for the first few minutes of driving in the cold then it goes away.
