Damn kids.
Damn kids.
Well was working a few nights ago at Acme. Got called up to the front end (work frozen) and they were like you drive a blue chevy right? I was like, Shhhheiit.... *Thinking to myself* Hope they didn't find out about my 1 hr breaks. But it wasn't that. They told me a customer says a Cobalt with its passenger window smashed. The first thing that came to mind was my Christmas present garmin (GPS). Walked out to my car and thought it was stolen but wasn't. That was a helluva relief. Thank God nothing was stolen.
Me and the security guy watched the cameras and the incident happened a half hour later after I had my break in my car. The kids pulled yp to the front of the store. The Security camera dead on there car, BUT the camera were the typical shotty digital ones so couldn't get the plate #. Anyways they circle the lot and pull slowly past my car. Stop and double park next to mine REALLY close (maybe a foot and I double parked). Turn off thier lights. Sit in their car for a good 3 minutes (assuming they were looking for stuff). Pull out then back up again so they can get out. Then BAM smash my passenger window. I hope that they were just trying to steal the car but figured that it was a stick. Luckily everything was still there, GPS, sunglasses, fishingpole and tackle. The car looked like a Red honda prelude somewhere 95-99 with the front 2 hubcaps missing.
Estimated cost is 200$ outta my pocket.
Point of story: IF you really love your car, park closer to wherever your going and don't park 100 feet from any car.

Wasn't even that. We had a clear as all can get view of the car but the digital cameras distorted the plate so there was a bright yellow( NJ Plate) and a smudge for the #'s. Security only watches inside cameras. They have a seperate sysyem than outside.

Total ******* pisser man, I'm very sorry to hear that. Makes me pretty damn angry to have that happen to anyone.
btw
x4 on the cream cheese, you'd better refridgerate that, it's hardly sanitary. jk man.
Yeah, my friend's mom said she had to park out away from anyone to avoid door knicks on their new car, when they came out later, they found kids rolling a truck tire into the side of it. But that story made me laugh in its ironicy and randomness.
Sorry about your car man, that sucks.

Had bagels and cream cheese for my break. Musta forgot the box. Don't worry though, I threw out the cream cheese before I went back inside.
Nothing I can do about it now. No plate, not kill. All I can say is that it was I believe a Red Honda Prelude maybe 95-00 and was missing 1 hub cap (saw one side of car before it turned). and the back 2 windows were tinted.
But all I can saw thank God my Gps and fishing stuff weren't stolen. Luckily I had that badboy tucked in the bottom left part of my windshild. I used to have it on a sticky pad in the center of the dash before it fell off.

Dang, that really sucks dude. Hope your insurance will cover your window or whatever..
BTW---why do you have a box of cream cheese in the passenger seat????
That's awesome with the cream cheese.

perhaps they were hungry thieves... ORRRRR, that box was really full of meth and he wanted to take it out before the law arrived.
Cream cheese was under the glass then the cop told me that maybe someone put a rock in it and smashed the window. I lifted it off the seat to show I ate the cream cheese then put it back.
Cant wait to get this fixed tomorrow!
