Question for those with pacesetter 2.0 header

Hey whats up guys just wondering my collector size measured out to be 2.5 I thought this was a 3" system just wondering if I need to have my fabricator cut the pipe back to where it looks like it might be 3" right before the collector. Thanks for any help.
Jason

The actuall collector is 3" and cone part for the ball joint is 2.5" and the piece of pipe that bolts up to the cone part is 3"

Can you cut off the cone for the ball joint and just have a pure 3" out?

also, does anyone know the size of the primaries? If they are not 1.5", then it seams pointless to me to have a 3" outlet, as (4) 1.5" primaries are need to equal the cross sectional area of a 3" outlet.
