possible cobalt buyer

hi,
I just joined and tomorrow I am going to look at the 06 and 07 cobalt sedan probably the LT version.

I am wondering what kind of problems all of you are having (must be multiple people, not just 2 or 3) and things I should be aware of

thank you

Traction. lol =). If you have the money go for the SS/SC. You can order one for 21,000.

Oh are you buying new or used? I had a few interior quality problems. Door trim pulling away from the pull handle. Nothing major here.

The only thing that happened was when I had my rims put on, the rotors got warped. Quick fix though. Besides that, I haven't had a problem: my mileage is 24,000 right now.

If you can afford it... go with the SS Sedan. It looks killer and the engine makes a lot better power than the LS/LT/LTZ 2.2L, while delivering comperable mileage.

I third the motion! If you were looking at the higher end 2.2L anyways, I say spend a little more and get the SS!

ANY of the cobalt models are a good buy.
THe LT/LS are good if you want an affordable economy car or sedan
The SS/Supercharged is right up your alley if your interested in tuning and racing
The regular SS is a nice mix of the two, still economical, but with alot more juice than the smaller engines, but not quite up to par with the supercharged version.

Plus you get to talk to all us nut swinging stallions up here about how awesome our cars are

ed. The only problems I've had so far is that Black is an impossible color to keep clean. And they have nicknamed the Ecotec engines "Ecoticks" for a very valid reason. They tend to have an aubible clicking while in idle or right after turning off. Nothings wrond with the car, that's just what it does.
I've had mine for about five months, no problems so far. Be sure and get the GAP coverage
