So I had to put the car in the shop Thursday, due to the fact that the downpipe broke right between the flex pipe and the cat. I had noticed a strange noise the day before, but didn't really think anything of it. Thursday morning on my way to work I heard a pop, then the exhaust got REALLY loud... I pulled over and popped the hood, and the exhaust was coming from the engine bay, not the back of the car. I carefully drove it to the nearby dealer who told me they couldnt get to it til next week, and no rental until they looked at it. So I called the other dealership i go to (about 45 mins away) and they said bring it in. Got my rental car, took them the Stage 2 I just got in the mail, and now all I'm waiting on is the PCM reflash to get it back. They said they couldnt get thru to GM on the phone or something. But all in all, should have it back tomorrow...
