SS/SC front and rear lip bolt on to 2.4?

I saw a few threads that just barely touched on this but, can you buy the SS/SC Front and rear lip and bolt it on to the stock 2.4 body kit. I assume you ahve to take off the Lip off the rear bumber but is this possible? Thanks

not it will not "bolt right up" all the holes are there on the bottom of the bumper to hook the lip to but you need to zip cut long rectangles in your bumper for the tabs to slide into and put these metal clips in behind to keep it tight to the bumper..

What about just the opposite.......2.4 front/rear clips bolting onto a 2.0 S/C.....I like the sleeper look.

Thoughts????

If you want a direct bolt on SS/SC lips then you have to use the front and rear SS/SC bumper covers. This is the only way to have direct bolt on.

All bumper covers are interchangeable on all models. You can take an SS/SC and put it on a 4 door sedan. And you can take a 4 door sedan bumper covers and put them on an SC

Hello everyone, new to the board here. I've been thinking of the front and lower lip on my SS sedan that I picked up almost a month ago. Just want to get things straight!! The front lip from a SS/SC will fit on a 2.4 sedan with slight modifications. Now the rear lip. People say to swap the rear bumper from a SS/SC, I assume they are refering to the coupe because the rear bumper of the sedan is different, ie. tail lights. Also I just noticed that the rear bumper of a 2.4 SS sedan is "longer" vertically than the base cobalt sedan. Does anybody know if a rear lip from a G5 GT coupe fit on the SS sedan. If anybody is unclear of what I mean, check GM's website for the Pontiac G5 coupe. Your thoughts!!
