So im driving my car today over to a friends place, parked it got out went it blah blah, came back out started my car go to pull out of the parking lot (its full of snow) spin the tires a bit to around say 3000-3500RPM get going along i look down and i have NO tach its sitting at zero (car is running fine, alittle sluggish) and my gas gage read empty too, so i pulled over shut it off for about five minutes started back up and everything was fine.. ... SO what happened? is this reduced power mode? if not anyone else experience this? Appreciate your help in advance..


It didnt rev to high for too long, i have had it revved alot higher than that no issues before..

My guess as your car was pissed off at you for not letting it warm up before you put it under load.

My real answer being, it probably lost some blinker fluid or something....

 

The Car was at op temp, i always warm it abit before i go... What the heck is blinker fluid..? my blinkers work fine... :

 

X2...or possibly low on headlight oil.

 

my speedometer and tach quit workin on me and i took it to dealer and they had to reflash
