RSM's cobalt project car begins. Pics inside.

RSM was one of the lucky companies to have access to the new Cobalt.

I have been asked by a member to post a few shots for your interest.

I'll keep you posted on the progress.

Can I ask why they gave you the four door? When is your completion date and plans?

Good luck and welcome!

We were lucky to get a car at all. I am happy to have the 4 door.

Our plans.....
Blower.
Big brakes.
Billet Strut tower bar.
Lowered.
Carbon Fiber(ram air) hood and trunk.
yes...18's.
lowered.
Gauge face.
The body kit I can get is a 2 door only. Well see if we can make something work.
.....more to come. I'll post some teasers. She'll be a sweet ride for sure.

We will probably be done 2 minutes before the show. That's just the way it goes when you are developing things for the first time.

Hold up, you can get a body kit for a coupe already? Where?

Also, no plans for tail lights?

It's an Auto 'cause that's what GM gave us.

The body kit is a secret. Hehe. Razzi has it already.

Decals...no prob! We stock silver with blue and silver with red. Send me your address I'll send you a couple.

It's a 4 bolt pattern like the Saturn we did last year. The SS will have a 5.

One of the guys is bringing a camera on Tuesday. I'll take some progress shots.

Can't wait to see these progress pics, and I'd love to see this body kit for the coupe. I bet it looks tight!

Bodykit.

I could have got the front from RAZZI, but the sides and rear would have been tough to do from scratch in time. We only had three weeks for all work. I don't know of any kit makers around us other than cheapo knockoff makers.

I managed to get the hood and trunk done. Even those were cutting it close.

Once we get back, we will most likety be able to continue the work.
