You most likely wont even publically notice , they wont be getting rid of the hurst name or its productline .

TWM makes a nice shifter for the 2.2/2.4. I helped a friend install his about a month ago.

No, they wont drop the name. Good chance they wont even change anything about the product. But when one company buys out its only major compatition it normally means a raise in price is coming down the road.
