white faced guages?

What Cobalt has them? The 2.4L SS does not

I would like to get them or overlays--I guess they would be easy to install. Maybe some company will make some?

Anyone else like there Coblat to have them?

I thought they only came with the sport package. I asked if I could get them as an accessory and I was told the dealership didn't have them in stock yet and I'd have to go to a parts place that they deal with. So I'm going to check back to see if the dealership could order and/or install them next week when I go for their "car show"

Could someone photoshop the yellow guages on the interior? Sounds like a nice way to keep the black/yellow flow......curiousity kills lol

I believe in Canada, only the Pursuit gets white gauges, no matter the Cobalt package ordered.

after looking at the site and the diy i dont think its really worth it. it seems like you can eesily screw up all your readings such as our speedomter. tach and gas. so im gonna pass on this now. if anybody does do it take A LOT OF PICTURES for a diy.

it does not sound too hard but im wondering if you brought it to a mechanic or the dealer if they would install them and calibrate them? Going to ask my mechanic when he puts in my short throw shifter. Maybe I will just get the shifter air filter and cluster done at the same time.

I emailed Blackcatcustom who makes those colored gauges...I asked them if they make or will soon make the different colored gauges for the cobalt ss...I explained to them that the gauges they sell now are only for the regular cobalt coupe and sedan...I told them it will be a good idea to make them for the ss version of the car...since the ss mph gauge goes way above the 120 mph one that they are currently selling...also that would be the one that people would buy since its a tuner/aftermarket type car...Ill let you know when they get back to me.

Is there a way to calibrate an electronic cluster?

i think the only way for them to read right is to make sure you put the needles back on correctly.

Blackcatcustom got back to me...they are looking for someone to send them a cobalt ss/sc gauge cluster and then they can make the different colored cluster...dont know why they need one of ours...they can simply buy one from GM...I did tell them that there is a market for it if they decide to make it.
