Canada WTB 2.4L Cobalt SS stock 17" rim

Hey, I'm looking to buy a fairly new/used in great condition 17" stock rim for the 2006 Cobalt SS coupe. I just bought my car earlier this month and last week I hit a pothole while driving around town at nite.

I damaged the front driver's side rim and the tire is not losing air as of yet, so i've switched the rim to the rear for now. Anyway, I looking for a replacement that is less than the cost for repairing it. So message me if you're interested in selling.

I'll have a set for sale in the spring, but am currently using them as my winters. Good luck

thanks brock, but i messaged marin before i started this thread.

he told me he's not interested in selling the rims individually as of yet. personally i think if he's not able to get the amount he's asking right now for the whole set, he'll probably make more money selling the wheels individually. besides me, he has had other people ask for one or a pair of rims. i guess his only obstacle is shipping as he mentioned, but he can sell to whoever he wants.

so far i've looked at panthers and nubrite (both local wheel repair shops) and they're asking $250 to fix the wheel. as many already know the ss rim is made of forged aluminum, which is apparently hard to work with. and would need to be repolished and painted after the torch is used to correct it (many steps explains the price). so anyway i'm fishing right now for a good deal on a new rim (with or without tire), and i hope something comes up fairly soon.

ok marin decided to sell the whole set instead now....so i'm still looking for any response.

i've checked the forums for any sellers, but none seem interested in shipping. so if any of you sellers are interested in shipping to vancouver let me know. just want one rim+tire.

I am actually looking for one rim myself. I had a little curb rash on my passenger front rim. Keep me posted, please.

do what i did...get your car towed and let the tow truck driver scratch all of your rims with the chain(guy was a moron). Then make them pay for a complete set...all brand new. He wasnt to happy when he heard they were 800 a piece from gm.

well that can be a backup plan... well so far i've talked to Nubrite and Panthers wheel repair shops in langley/surrey. they are both going to charge about $250 CAN (plus tax) to repair, due to the amount of time involved (torching, pollishing, etc.). Although Panthers says they'd keep the rim for about a week due to a backlog.
