what would happen if i took off the air filter box would that gain any horse power or anything??

yea def iv been hella busy latly tryin to get my other show car fixed up for this show season but when is ur next meet? where and what time how many ppl r there? id love to come hang out u guys race at all?

 

we have one almost every weekend i think we are having one saturday night..most of the time its like 6 or 7 cars

but i think there is a air box mod

I didnt remove the air box. I rather removed the filter to get an idea of what my motor would sound like with more air flow. Granted i didnt drive it like that far at all because i didnt want to get anything inside my throttle body and mess up my motor. But if you remove the air box and install a conical filter there some how, you can improvise a short ram air type intake. I did that on my 88 oldsmobile cutlass cierra. 3.8 liter v-6.......(my first baby). But never the less i am not an expert i am only telling you something that i did myself.
