Hey guys,
well, finally sold cavy and got my 05 SS insured and on the road. As for as engine performance goes, its all stock right now. Want to get the feel of the car before all the parts/ex. etc go on. I installed my PLX m300 wideband 02 gauge and sensoer, and so far my WOT a/f ratios haven't dropped lower then 13s even at WOT? weird? I had the gauge/sensor on cavy for about 8months, so the sensor should be fine. Will replace, but was curious to what other get for their a/f ratios from their stock lsjs'.
Thanks!
Nate

When mine was stock it was in the low 11's even into the 10's.

plx's do not require auto calibration, but it wouldnt surprise me that its lean considering im seeing duty cycle at 127% on my stock 07

Nope, no calibration needed. Weird, cause it rarely dips below 13s. I haven't really got on it yet, but i know when you floor it from down low, it should drop.
Weird. Ordered a new sensor, but this is really weird.
Rodimus Prime,
where did you take your power source from for the wideband? Thats the only thing i can think of.

24ms at 6100rpm... do the math
IM wayyy over on duty cycle and I have no mods at all, i dont yet have the wideband hooked up, but my commanded afr is 10.8, no doubt once I can see AFR I may be able to cut down the duty cycle at bit but my car is unchanged from the factory and ive compared it to other stock 07 files and its true
Bit off topic but how bouncy are your widebands.I have the aem and it seems to move around quite a bit I can see the #'s before the decimal but after the decimal kinda hard to tell. All The # is never really steady moving around quite a bit.My sensor is in the dp aprox where the rear one was. I have the zzp dp with no cat.

I actually dont have it hooked up to my cobalt yet, but i imagine theres some place in the fuse box thats suitable
Its normal for it to bounce around a bit during driving idle should bounce between 14.4 to about 15.1, when you let off the gas totally while driving it should go into DFCO and lean to 19.9, and of course when you punch it, ideally you want it stuck in the high 11s

There should be a delay before you hit power enrichment....... You also need to hit something like 92% WOT before it will kick it. Take it to 3k rpms and mash the gas to the floor.

Got the new bosch wide band sensor, installed it and voila. a/fs are what i suspect..even richer then i expected.
