The real reason Oni is not modding

Well I have shown support for and shown interest in a number of group buys and up coming trips but I eventually have backed out of each. Why? Well the girlfriend (soon to be wife but shhh don't tell her although we have already talked about it) and I are buying a house and well after spending over 2 grand on ernest deposits and saving for furniture and point payoff's for the loan I have nearly no cash to spend unless I want to reduce what I can get for my home such as the new surround sound system and 61" samsung I plan on getting. I am super excited about getting my own house and i thought I would share an image of what the house will look like minus that cool looking door which was not even offered as an upgrade.

thx man the house is a pretty penny though but after insentives it came down some. The initial price was 240k without upgrades. Notice the huge driveway it can fit 4 cars not including the 2 car extended garage. and since it is a flat surface tune ups and modding (after I get the damn house) is gonna be a breeze since I will have so much space to work on.

yeah that image is just a model taken from my camera but mine will be exactly the same cept a different color pallete which had more contrast outlining the house better. My house has yet to begin the build process (though it is currently undergoing ground pressure testing) but it is going up 4 or 5 lots down the road to the right of that image and I get the corner lot WOOOT. The other cool thing is that right behind my house there is going to be a huge recreational park so there will be no one behind me other than the road and the park. This is a pic of my dirt lol they dig up the ground treat it with water then pack it and test the ground to see if it can withstand the pressure of the 2 story house.

around here a houlse like that would EASY be 600-800,000... looks really good, the only thing i don't like is you can reach from your bed and touch your neighbor's house... other than that, looks awesome! and 240, damn... i need to move... my parents house is TINY as hell and goes for about 400,000...

actually it only looks that way from the image. There is over 8 feet of space between the houses. the house to the left has a different design but the garage ends are probably the only thing that gets close. once the garage ends on that house it dips in and the houses are seperated by that larger amount of space then my garage starts.

I heard in cali a house only 3/4 of mine would go for over a mil. my house is 1900+ (interior) sq/ft

You should get some of those cables they have in croutching tiger and jump from house to house. Sweet place. Just don't go around buying all expensive new stuff for the house. Get some bargains. Props to you though on that fine house.

west side 93rd n lower buckeye. the good side of the west side lol. I am thinking of renting out my house next year for the superbowl since the stadium is like 5 minutes away. Something like 1k per person per day minimum 4 people and 3 days sound good?

i looked at a condo the other day, there were a few that were like 200,000... and they were about 600 square feet

my parents house, which is small, goes for about 400-500,000 here in north jersey... it's rediculous! anything that i would consider really nice is anywhere from around 700,000 - 3 million... that's why i have an apartment, not a house
