3157 3057 turn signal bulb question

Our car calls for a 3157 turn signal bulb automotive lighting only sells a 3057 aftermarket bulb What is everyone buying? i know you can use both

from what i've seen the difference is the wattage. as long as you get the SAME KIND for BOTH SIDES, you'll be fine.
