I just put Nighthawks in my wife's '99 Intrigue and was somewhat disappointed.

They are cheaper than Sylvania's, but I can see why.

Although I do have to say I got a few flickers from high beams of other cars to turn off my high beams when they weren't on. So at least they're annoying people even if I can only see marginally better than I could with the standard Sylvania's I pulled out.

I should have spent the extra money for the SilverStars.

WOW

Maybe I did good by buying the Nighthawks, or at least NOT buying the SilverStars.

I have the silverstar ultra's in my Balt. I haven't used them yet due to the car being put away for the winter after the install.

Excellent point.

I was very particular when I changed out the lights on my wife's car. So much that I, in fact, didn't even touch the bulbs I removed because I was so conscious about it. LOL

I have the silverstar ultra's they put out a lot more light than stock but if you are wanting the "blue/hid" look these arent the ones for you they are just white. I have also had the "blue bulbs" and could not see worth a crap with them.

I have several friends with Silverstars, they've all had issues with them burning out within a 3-4 months. They do look alright for a $40 set of bulbs, don't know why you think they are white^ they seem pretty blue to me, they put out 4300K i believe, anything over 4000K is blue

Yea my problem wasnt touching the bulb with my fingers, I know about that, i was very careful when putting them in, I guess i have had them on for about a year and half probably, but still i dont think bulbs should burn out that quickly and within a week of each other, im almost wondering if the single digit degree weather we are having may have some part to do with that, well im just running the stockers now until i find or hear of something better

Neither! You need Nokya Artics in those projectors. Take it from me......been there and done that. Silvestars are a waste of money!

I had the silverstars before I went to HID, They didnt look bad but one did burn out quickly. If you got the cash, PIAA bulbs are about the best out there.
