Which Tire to go With?

I need some opinions on which tire everyone thinks would be best for my Cobalt. I am mainly concerned with dry traction and wear and tear of the tires. I have searched and read about many of the tires that members have been using and have narrowed it down to a few. Please vote and post your input.

go on to tire rack and have a look around.

its a great site for comparisons and ratings.
Me personally Im going to go for BFG Gforce T/A KDW2's.

reasonable price. and the best rating for dry traction on tirerack. with a good tread wear.

I had some Kuhmo SPT last yr, awsome tires.... I got them very cheap, good wear and traction, best bang for buck I think,

Yea, I've been reading the reviews and looking at the ratings of a lot of tires on TireRack. Thats what helped me narrow it down to the four I chose, but they all seem to have thier pro's and con's from reading the reviews, so I'm trying to get a feel of what everyone here thinks as well. Thanks for the input so far!

Get the Toyo's! They are great in the rain, freaking outstanding in the dry, and have a 280 treadlife! I love mine and have used them at the track, in the turns, on the street, and in the rain. Great tires all the way around and they are still a Max performance tire unlike the KDW2's. They are also pretty cheap in the price scale of things. !

Yea I was reading in the other thread about how much you liked yours so I put them on this list with the others to see what everyone else thinks. I'm kinda stuck between the KDW's and the Toyo's right now. Seems like a lot of people like the KDW's though.

They will not be used during the winter months, really haven't found anything too great for an all season tire.

DTM, hopefully I can get my cars new drivetrain in this weekend and break in the clutch. Then I'll go to the track and get some videos of launches on the Toyo's. My buddy has the KDW's on his SRT-4 which is just a little faster than my car, but he spins all the way down the track and I don't now.

Thanks for the continued input. 2K5SS/SC?, if you could get a video that would be awesome man. I have it narrowed down to the KDW's and the Toyo's, there are just so many members that love the KDW's that its hard to chose the Toyo's, but maybe a vid. would help that decision. I can also get a great deal on the KDW's too, but we'll see, I still have time to decide.

I've briefly heard abou the Falkon's, but don't know too much about them. I'll have to search on them a little more.

Somebody else told me to get them as well, but I can't find them, do you have a link to where I can read up on them/purchase them?

If price isnt a factor, the goodyear are the hands down best tire there. If price is a factor, then the BF's.... The srt-4 04/05 had the BF's where the 03 had the michelin pilot, and the 03 with slightly less HP had quicker 0-60 and 1/4 miles. The micheline pilot IMO are the equivalent of the goodyear F1 GS
