Undercoating

I noticed a few weeks ago that the undersides of our cars do not have any undercoating or corrosion protection. It is just uncleared paint which does not protect the metal for long. I plan on keeping my car for many many years so I undercoated my car at my shop today.

Here is a link for the before picture. https://www.cobaltss.net/gallery/sho...atid=newimages

And here is the finished product https://www.cobaltss.net/gallery/sho...64&c=newimages

I reccomend that all of you get this done.

The car should've come with it. I don't understand why the manufacturers don't do that to every car. Oh well. GLad mine is protected.

I hear that you should only consider it when the car is new. Trapping chemicals after the car is driven can be more damaging then leaving it alone. Just what I heard.

The underside of the car was thoroughly cleaned prior to me undercoating it. I manage a body shop. What I did was protect my investment from any rust down the road.
