washing undercoating off
washing undercoating off
Anybody from the northen part of US or Canada will know that the cars get pretty grimy in the winter. Im looking for a good soap to get the oil off from the bottom of my car from the undercoating. I dont realy want to use palmolive, and simple green seems to just smear it. Any ideas?
1. Coat with diluted simple green or another type of degreaser (don't wipe off).
2. Bring out a hose with one of these kinds of sprinklers on the end:

3. Leave it running for an hour or so.
4. ???
5. Enjoy your shiny, clean undercarriage.
It works wonders for getting just about anything out from under the Jeep which is an absolute grease and mud fest in the undercarriage.

You spent all that time cleaning and the weather is supposed to be absolute **** for the rest of the week!?!?!?
Just playing with you. Clean black FTMFW. I cannot wait until this weekend when I can dig into my cobalt and scrub it down.

I pondered putting my summer rims on today, it hit 51 in Albany. I'm going to wait another few weeks though, I have a feeling were going to get one more major snow dump before the season officially comes to an end.
I find it best to wait until mid April. Thats usually when all the crazy weather dies down.
All I did was wash it twice, real quick. I'm going to clay, polish, wax.. When it gets a little nicer. I just wanted to get all of the salt residue off of it.
yep....i use meguiars super degreaser(obviously diluted) let it sit. all the components that matter and the undercoated parts that are hard to keep clean aggitate with various brushes and a cloth and then with my pressure washer rinse it down.
