Awesome Idea/. . . .imo

ok here it goes,

Im gonig to get an after market head unit, and I dont want to have the gap with the slot like the other install kits have and I want to put my interceptors somewere eles beside my A pillar,

so Im going to buy a head unit, remove the seat heater buttons and relocate them becuase I like them and want to keep them, Im just not sure were yet, and then remove the passanger seat airbag thing, buecase I think its ugly and do not care for it, I will leave it hooked up but just tuck it behind everything soo you cant see it,

next dremel the peice that they are sitting in to make room for my head unit, put the head unit there so its only like a 1/2 inch above the climate controls, and then above the head unit put my interceptors,.

I will be a project, but I think I can really make it happen, anything any one wants to had please do, I could use any information.

a couple questions from me though,

what kind of install kit did you all use, I know Ill have to modify it but Im just curious witch one you all used and whitch headunit wire hardness did you guys use?

I have an 07 ss/sc, if that helps with my questions,

Ive never installed a head unit before but Im very mechanical and I have no doughts that I can doo it , soo any advise is kool,

thanks a head of time,
