Pedals - What ya think?

So, I'm half stealing BlilBT's setup for pedals going with - Momo Stealth Black/Aluminum

I'm considering the footrest as well - any one installed one of these? Just not sure how it'll fit, have to measure it out.

And I've decided on Lloyd floormats, black with reflective silver border with a silver SS logo... which I've found here (and oddly only here even though Lloyd owns the damn rights to the logo..) http://www.autobarn.net/lloydultimats.html

Should look nice on my silver 'Balt . I'll post pics when I'm done (like a month probably..)

Did they fit over your factory gas pedal? I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to cut mine like Blil did but I haven't measured it yet to see how they'll fit.
Some of the cheap ones don't look half bad, but I definitely don't watch my clutch cover slinging off while I"m trying to drive.

they bolt on, and come with some REALLY sticky double sided tape... i also used a hot glue gun, and they're on there perfectly, they're not moving... the gas pedal i left on, and just went right over it, perfect fit... i took the pad off the brake pedal to make it fit easier...

So I just measured - I'm going to have to cut cuz the gas pedal is about half an inch short. Oh well, that's why God invented the Dremel.

The dead pedal measures 7"x2.5" and our OE dead pedal pad is 12" x 4" - how do you think it'll look? I'm thinking okay if I put it about 1/2" or so off the floor..

Oh, and on the cost - these aren't that bad - they run about $50 shipped and the dead pedal is about $45 shipped. Still cheaper than the gmpp pedals from a dealer and a hell of a lot better looking imo.. these are the auto, but you get the idea -

GMPP pedals are a little more expensive because they are the complete throttle switch assembly, throttle arm, and pedals. Top quality....

AND you keep your full warranty!

there is something about MOMO stuff though for me, because it's like you're driving an F1 car. even if they're just pedals!

I think MOMOs are warrantied, too - probably a lot longer than 36k miles.

I like that GMPP's totally replace the current pedals, I just don't like the styling of them. All bubbley and ****, might as well put a tinkerbell sticker on my back glass, too.

Haha - hey it's my muse! Anyone who hasn't seen Blil's interior should check it out - sweet as hell.

Hey, question for you - why didn't you just cut that off in the car with a dremel instead of yanking it out and using a handsaw? Seems in the car would be easier.. just wondering if there was a 'why'

Aww hell, that's what twin sized bed sheets are for, just lay them bitches out and I'll be good to go I think. We'll see.
I noticed on your install pic that there was a slight bow - did that flatten out when you fastened them in, or do they have a curve?

Same here, I ordered those exact pedals, with the T-200 floor grids in aluminum/black and the momo race shift knob,,, can't wait to start installing.

Did you ever put your pedals on? I'm also considering getting the dead pedal,, but wanna see how I like what I already ordered first. Dunno if the extra pedal would be too much. And I'd probably never use it anyways

Sorry to copy you too BlilBT, but that was just such a clean set-up.

I'll throw up some pics as soon as I get everything in and installed

Momo makes some really nice stuff for your car. I was wondering about the floor plate, did you order that from their site or did you find it in a store somewhere?

Where are you guys buying those pedals from?? I think that is the only set I've seen that I like so far. Also, is that shift knob in the pic the Momo one?? Looks a lot like my Sparco one.

I got all my parts of ebay,, PM me if you want the name of the ebay store.

And yeah, it's the momo race aluminum/airleather knob, on a shortened B&M "short-throw"

The pedals are Stealth aluminum/black
