Talking SS33 Interior Update, lotsa pics

A few new interior updates for the 07 season, and yes it is BlilBT inspired, lol. Sorry to sorta copy ya man, but I had the shifter picked out a long time ago, and the pedals just go with it very well, I think.

I picked up the MOMO Stealth Aluminum/Black pedal covers. (Man that throttle pedal assy is a pain in the **** to remove, the bolt in the back is crazy tough to get to, so I ended up pulling the entire bracket that it was bolted to instead, made it a lot easier.)

MOMO Aluminum T-200 floor grids.

MOMO Race Aluminum/Airleather shift knob.

I think it flows well with the interior, but I really wasn’t happy with the height of the shifter, so I ended up trimming it down ~1.5” after I took these pics. And yeah, I know I need to vac out my car, lol

How much I trimmed from the reverse lockout collar on the B&M (~1.5", I took the same ammount from the shifter shaft as well), yes it still works, and I was even able to maintain the spring to keep the return on the collar, it was very easy, less than an hour from start of tear down, cutting everything, and re-installation.

And yeah I know my floor is dirty as hell, but WTF it's ******* snowing outside, in April, so I'm not completely to blame for the last pic, lol

I also did a little spring cleaning on my ass, we don't need no stinkin badges. Yeah I missed a spot

What do you think?

You aren't lying brother, I think I called it every name in the book before I looked up and saw the bolt holding the main bracket in place. I droped that and was able to get enough room to get back to that damn 3rd bolt. I still don't ever wanna do that again, lol

I guess I didn't realize you had to be a premium member to upload to the gallery. Is this a new thing?

Thanks bro, I absolutely love it. It actually feels like a short throw finally, and I can use my cup holders again, lol.

I like the way those rims look on your ride... a little bit of tint would be the hotness

Appreciate the kind words. Trust me, the car is tinted. In my pics, the sun was very bright that day. 35% sides, 20 rear. When you see it in person, it looks like a silver smoke tint.
But yeah, it's tinted man.

hey hey

So you nipped the nub huh!

Looks better. it looked like instead of addig a short throw you had added a tall throw! j/k

I hate to tell you this but i dont like the vibes from my trans inserts!!!!

It is just too much for me. does the offer still stand for your old cores? I think im going to leave in the front one and revert back to stock for the rear mount.

I think ill keep them in until my first track day then i have to take them out.

the engine sounds too loud, the cabin shakes like crazy when my rpm get near 1500 or so. i was thinking though would some dynamat take care of the sound?

I really hate to say it but i dont like it. Sorry to waste your friday like that.

Really i am truly sorry and more than a bit embareassed.

Yeah I got motivated after taking a drive to friends house and back,,, it was killing me. That's just how the damn B&M shifter is,,, I think it is the exact same heght as stock, but with shorter throws from the pivot down, and the whole patter is moved forward a bit.

Anyways, sorry to hear about the vibes man, no worries though man, I like working on these cars. Would you say they are worse in your car than in mine? I was worried they might b, that is some crazy hard poly. The ones in my cavy and the balt were a way different blend than that stuff.

I do think dynamatt would help a bit, but it's hard to say,,,

I have my stockers still, so they're yours if you wanna go back to stock, I am thinking you might be happier with the kind of mounts I have, plus the type I have are soft enough to put in a few holes as well if you wanted to
