Other problems with my brand new car
I went to pick-up my car after owning it for day 3 and along with my Airbox being full of water and taking out the air filter which in junction messed up the MAF. The supercharger wasn't torqued right from the factory and One of the blades was rubbing as described on the work order. I have a question when I shift into 2nd gear the car is really jerky after I release the clutch all the way and accelerate, I notice if I rev it up to 3500 it isn't too bad a lot smoother, it is like the car is falling on its face.
Yes... this car needs to be shifted at 3000+ RPMs to give you a nice smooth ride... it dosen't like being grannied...
There's a big article on the proper way to drive this car... how to make the stock clutch last... etc. etc. It goes over a lot of stuff... but in a nutshell... shift at 3000+ RPMs whenever possible... and always skip 4th gear. The car will love you a lot more if you do this.

It was in the write-up... you can't follow the "shift at 3000+" rule and use 4th... do you know how fast 4th gear at 3000 RPMs is? You'd have to be going that fast to get into 5th using the "shift at 3000+" rule. Can't do that on city streets where the limit is under 55...
With the installation of Stage 2 I've altered my driving style a little bit... typically I'll run out 1st to 3500... 2nd to between 3000 and 3500... then hold 3rd to right at 3000 or until traffic forces me to stop accelerating... then drop to fifth. If I get below 40 mph I'll go back to 3rd... below 20 is 2nd... stopped gets me back to 1st.
