I've been using armor all glass wipes, which suck and leaves fibers and streaks. I buff it out with a cotton towel an this works fine until the sun gets bright on my windows. Streak are horrendous then.

So what product would you guys reccomend and the best method to getting crystal clear windows?

Try Windex. I don't think I've cleaned the inside of my windows yet actually haha, they're never dirty or streaky, but if I had to, I would go with Windex.

Try regular armorall glass cleaner, its clear, and a micro fiber towel, it works way better than windex, in my opinion

i use sprayway glass cleaner. its safe for the non-tinted and the tinted windows. then i either use a paper towel or news paper to wipe.

Just wipe with a wet, clean chamois, then dry with a microfiber towel. Leaves a perfectly clear finish. Nothing annoys me more than crap on my windows. People look at me funny sometimes when I'm wiping off the inside of the windshield or one of the side mirrors while sitting at a light.

I said the spray cleaner, not the wipes, the wipes do suck!!! Whatever cleaner you end up using, get a microfiber tower, you won't believe the difference!!!

I uses Eagle Window cleaner. I spray it on the windown then wipe with a old T-shirt then buff with a microfiber towel. Works 100% for me everytime. No streaks ever.

Stoner is awesome...I use one microfiber cloth to wipe it down with, then another to dry it...seems to work much better then using the same cloth again.

Newspaper is used by professionals who do tinting mostly...it does a good job as well.

I use tropi-care glass cleaner and two microfiber towels, spray one towel and wipe window, come back and wipe with another dry towel. Works like a charm.

I use Eagle One 20/20 Glass Cleaner and a Micro fiber towel from mequirers. It 100% tint safe and it leaves no streaks. I treat my windshield with RAIN X w/ bug guard. dirt and grime wipe right off and when it rains the drops bleed off with hardly no wiper use at all.

Hey guys I just got my windows tinted.

Is it safe to use the normal method of window cleaning on the film or are there certain products/chemicals you shouldn't use on tint?

Thanks guys, you are great help for a newb car enthusiast.

i think u give it a week to cure to the window and stick then u can use normal automotive window cleaners. i think vinigar/water is a lil abrasive for tint IMO

If your windows are tinted, dont use anything that has ammonia in it.

Not only does the Invisible Glass and newspaper method work wonders, it doesn't contain any ammonia, so you don't have to worry if your windows are tinted. :twothumbs

This is what my husband swears by, I hate it. I always get massive streaks and it looks like crap. I always use the Armor All Window Wipes.

I use those wipes occasionally, but I always seem to run out of them halfway through cleaning the windows haha. I usually stick to Wondex tho.

Use clean newspaper to dry if you are having problems with streaking. The ink in the newspaper actually helps keep streaks from forming. And no it won't smudge your windows.
