Has anybody ever had the inside door handle make a clicking noise when you try to open the door from the inside?

 

yes, it is a known defect with many 05/06 driver door handles. why the drivers door, i dont know. But I had to get mine replaced at the dealership. As have many others... Easy fix, they just replace the whole thing

 

Oddly enough, mine started doing this after I left it at the dealership for an oil change.

 

yep, happened to me, escept it snapped and wouldnt open from in or out. its humiliating getting in on the wrong side of the car when your 6'4 crawling over everything.

 

So this is a known problem. Is there a TSB out on it and if so does somebody have it? Anybody have the passenger side do it also? I think I might tell them both sides are doing it so they replace both mechanisms.

 

Don't know about the passenger side... I only had / have heard problems with driver side....
