Lightbulb DC Sports Strut Bar

I was wondering how many of you out there have bought this item. I have been considering buying it for a while. however i had a few questions:

1: Does it even work and is it worth the money?

2: will it clear the pheumatic hood prop rod?

let me know that u all think.

1) yes it works, you'll notice it, but its not HUGE

2) Yes, not anywhere close to the prop rod actually. If it didn't clear it then no body would buy it obviously

I have this, I found that the rear sway bar does a heck of a lot more then this thing does... I guess if you dont have a rear sway bar this may make the car feel a bit better, but with the rear sway bar you might not notice this at all cause the sawy bar is bloody amazing.

Mine did not fit worth a ****. I had to shave some of the bar to make it fit correcly it would not line up between the bolts on the top of the strut. I did end up making it fit but i was not happy. NO the car was never hit i bought i brand new and it had only like 1500 miles on it when i installed the bar.

I do like it and it helps.

This may sound like a noob question but it never hurts to ask. Are you guys experiencing any less wheel-hop as a result of a strut bar?

I know it was designed for improving handling, but i figured it may stabilize the front end a little and help out some on hard launches.

I plan on getting it either way. Heck its less than 100 bucks and installs in 5 minutes. You cant beat that.

in the directions it says something like "If bar does not fit, you may have to slightly jack up the car."

The picture on our site is generic, they are both the single bar design as DC sports only has one style. We have many in stock and can ship right away.

Ah now that looks like the one that will actually fit the SS/SC. Is that what It looks like? Its cool. the Turbo tech racing is the same picture I found on the DC sports/AEM web sites.

By the way I ordered my Ingalls ETd 2 weeks ago from turbo tech and I got It a lot quicker then I expected it, the service was awesome. thanks dudes.

Thanks for all the great input everyone
