Nitrous? Is it the right thing to finish my setup?

So, as the title states. I am currently running a 2.7" pulley, smaller belt, larger injectors, and a custom tune. I am only pushing 15-16 lbs normally since I am at 5600' elevation. I dynoed 272whp but then detuned slightly to run a little safer so I am sitting at 265whp. Those numbers are SAE though. My actual is only 232whp. The only other mod that is coming other than me possibly doing nitrous is header and full exhaust. Which should put me at 250+ actual or around 290-300 SAE. So I figure a 35 wet shot should be fairly safe. It would put me at 300 actual and around 360 ish SAE. Would that be safe without me doing headgasket/studs and pistons?

I see your runing 42's. with nitrous you might wanna run 60s to be safe, talk to zinner, he is runing a 2.8, with a 50shot, and has sprayed 75, he has no gasket/studs, or pistons.

Heck the GM stage 3 is setup for a 50 shot yet it relies on the 42's. But then again that is a 2.99 pulley and not a 2.7.

Your injectors have no bearing on the nitrous equation if you are running a wet shot.

Most wet shots run on the rich/safe side if you follow the directions.

I have run a 75 shot several times. I just installed my nitrous plate so I can't wait to try it out, just need to finish up the wiring.

Watch for detonation and pull timing. I have a 2.8 pulley on my setup. I personally wouldn't go smaller, than 2.8.

deffinetly go for it. Why dont get a 2.5" man. There deffinetly much more power and tq to be had from going from a 2.7 to a 2.5.
