1) Sorry to here about you front lip. That sucks

2) I don't think anyone making one yet, but I would love to have one.

3) I'm actually thinking about producing one of my own. It's a coplicated project. I'm just trying to save up for a sheet of CF. It's not cheep and I'm far from rich.

Like said above, no one has made one yet. There is a member on here who is attempting to make and produce right now, so keep an eye out for that.

How much did that CF cost you? The only place that I found that sells raw CF sells it for like $250 or so.

Thumbs up Carbon front lip

How much are you guys willing to pay?
I can do one but would have to make a proper mold and do one. The other question is how many of you would want one? The biggest deal is making the mold which is time consuming, but then we can make them. How mant are interested? By the way I am still making the carbon bowties, with a new molds by the way!!

I know that this sound a little under priced but $200-$300ish would be reasonable for me. I know that you'll be making quite about just based on your materials. Heck, a DIY would be kinda cool for those not willing to pay what you want. I'd be down for either. I want a CF front lip so bad......... grrrrrrr......... I hate being broke!!

200 is kinda cheap to pay for that. the stock lip, unpainted, is 175 wholesale. so 200 is way too low to pay. maybe closer to 300 would be a better price.

You guys are crazy. I would NEVER do a CF lip. I actually probably would, but then I would be hella careful so I don't smash it up.

If you guys are willing to pay around $250.00 to $300.000 for one I can start on a mold, but would be nice to know how many of you would be intererested??? Now this is the piece that goes below the front bumper and wraps around?? Correct??
Let me know

Their is one in production, however it is not the factory lip. It has brake vents and sits a little lower than the stock lip. It was used on most of the grand am cobalts. you can get them from Roush Industries, not sure on the price, and not sure on how many you have to buy. Their in the build book under the grand am cobalt part list. page 10 has a picture of it.

The grand-am cobalts' is ok, but an oem or near oem would look better. $250 to $300 is an awsome price. I'd be down when I get my taxes back for sure.

383cobaltss >>> (off topic) Where in Cali are you located? I may be able to lend a hand if you chose to go to full production. Or, we could meet when you've got some completed for some of us NorCal guys.
