Question Engine Damper

WEAPON R Engine Damper or INGALLS "STIFFY" Engine Damper?

is a torque dampener even worth it?

Buy the ingalls works great, and go to new era performance... it's 149 with free shipping (or atleast it was a few weeks ago!)

Depends on what your looking for, just looking to get rid of some wheel hop for a lightly modded engine get a dampner. If your looking to heavily modify go with a solid mount

I got an ingalls and it works wonders on wheel hop but I get a wierd metal clanking noise during cold weather starts, but as soon as the car warms up it goes away.

I had an ingalls, it worked while I had intake/exhaust only. After getting all my engine mods, the thing was worthless. I sold it to syP, and bought poly trans mounts, and a billet motor mount. Now those things KICK ASS!!!! The only down side is the interior vibration is horrific! Small price to pay for traction. If you plan on staying lightly modded, maybe upto stage 2, then go with the ingalls. Plan on going crazy, get poly mounts.
